Macau Saint Paul University 聖保祿新大學 (圣保禄新大学)

A new university is being in Macau named Macau Saint Paul University. A 'U' Shape building will be construct within the university complex and the current site will be demolish to make ways for this new development. The total construction cost of this project is worth $350million MOP and construction was began this September.

全亞洲唯一一所具備幼稚園到大學各階段完備的一條龍學習階級的學校。

聖保祿新大學是澳門青洲即將興建的一所大學。據澳門葡文報章《句號報》報道，由葡萄牙天主教大學和天主教澳門教區合辧的澳門高等校際學院將會遷往青洲與聖若瑟教區中學校本部分別各自合辦的大學及中學,「大學部」的校名現擬改為聖保祿新大學。

聖保祿新大學將會與聖若瑟教區中學校本部合建一新校區，該中學學生將來可直接免入學試升讀該大學。從而令就讀該校幼稚園的學生可以直升至大學。新大學校園的圖則已獲政府批准，佔地面積約29,000平方米，大學建築費用達3億5,000萬元。新校園將是為現時拆卸中的聖若瑟教區中學校本部校園現址，將會重建一座像U型的建築物。聖保祿校園內並計劃設一所國際學校，新大學主體工程於2007學年開始並於2007年9月17日起動工，位於青洲聖若瑟教區中學校本部校園將會清拆。

Nowadays, most of the schools in Macau are private, with only a few government or public schools. Free education is offered to students in most of the schools (except universities).

For Chinese and English Education System
Students must be attend a full six years for their primary school education up to primary 6. Three years for junior secondary school education and two years for senior high school education up to Form 5, with exception up to Form 6 for some school.

Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English are offered in most of the schools. Portuguese is also taught as a subject in some schools.

Macau was being rated 6th in Science with a score of 525 and 5th in Problem solving with a score of 532 on the Programme for International Student Assessment. Macau is also one of the top 10 performing countries in the world in the field of mathematics.
